Sequoia Door Inc provides residential and commercial garage door installation, repair and maintenance,  gate opener repair and installation, as well as general locksmithing and door closer services. Headquartered in Lindsay, our service area includes Visalia, Tulare, Porterville, Exeter, Farmersville, Woodlake and all points in between. Sequoia Door installs commercial and residential sectional and one piece garage doors.  We install, service and repair Genie garage door operators, though we can usually repair other brands as well.  We install and repair exterior and vehicular gates and gate operators as well as install locks and deadbolts for homes and businesses. Sequoia Door can also design and install master key systems for businesses.

Who’s Behind Sequoia Door?

Kurt Jehning, founder and president of Sequoia Door, Inc. has been involved in the locksmithing and garage door industries since childhood. His father owned a locksmith shop and by age 10 Kurt was cutting keys. By age 14 he was installing garage doors and operators with his older brothers.

Kurt fell in love with the Central Valley in 2000 while vacationing there with his wife, a native of Exeter, CA. In 2012 Kurt decided to open Sequoia Door, Inc. and make the Valley his permanent home.

Kurt is a Certified Registered Locksmith and a Certified Automated Gate Operator Installer.  Kurt is a member of the Associated Locksmiths of America,  California Locksmith Association,  and the International Door Association.

With 25 years of experience ranging from repairing airport hangar doors to rescuing pet turtles from locked bathrooms, Kurt is passionate about bringing the best service to every customer no matter how large or small the job.
